According to NPR, accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein turned to unorthodox methods to pressure media outlets to quash unfavorable stories before his recent arrest. NPR reports that former Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter once found a bullet and a severed cat head outside his home amid the magazine's push to report on the Epstein allegations.
