The US president falsely claimed Puerto Rico has received $92 billion in funding from Congress. Reporters from the Washington Post fact-checked the claim and found $42.7 billion in aid had been allocated to the island as of June 30. Authorities declared a state of emergency for Puerto Rico ahead of Tropical Storm Dorian.
