Writer Emperial Young has been on a hunger strike for nine days in a bid to save The OA, picketing outside Netflix's building in Los Angeles. The show was scrapped by Netflix after two seasons. Young said while she wants the show to continue, her protest is about "the capitalist forces that killed the show."
