Nice info... Aythe 1 day is 4 min short of 24 hrs?

There are two different types of days. A sidereal day and a solar day.

A sidereal day is how long the earth takes to rotate 360 degrees on its axis and youre right it takes less than 24 hours. But thats not the day we measure!

We measure the solar day, which is how long it takes for the sun to end up in the same spot in the sky which is almost exactly 24 hours.
