Java lo 6 months chese project..Integration frameworks can achive in 1-2 months. Not just DB. They have connectors to MQ, DB, HTTP, SOAP, Sales force, SAP, FTP, Kafka, Amazon, LDAP, Cassandra and etc. Too many out of the box. Not need to write the code for connections and no need to write code for orchastration. Now they expacnted to API management using something called RAML which is similar to Swagger or Apigee.
