1) Air tickets : they use to bought from broker... air ticketbooking was using phone calls....and payment via checks...it use to take around 7 days to confirm tickets.

2) There use to be no GPS, people use to buy maps (paper version)

3) Carry change( coins ) to make calls.

4) Sending message to India is expensive: Mainly telegrams , intentional mails...

This is very true ...my very first trip was to a drive to atlanta and we used printouts from google.

smart phone usage appude start avuthundhi and gps $100 petti kone scene lekunde so  we used those prints for routes...
