"In the commercial vehicle segment, sales declined by 39 per cent to 51,897 units in August, a drop of 39 per cent YoY compared with 84,668 units in August 2018. Within commercial vehicles, medium and heavy CVs took a knock of 54.3 per cent, as sales declined to 15,573 units."

real reason is government has no clear directions for electrification of vehicles.. bjp fuccked up in putting new policies in time. So all future developments of two and three wheelers have been halted by 90%

Imagine not having competetive new releases to attract new buyers....like releasing  old vehicle with slight modifications as new model. In USA you can take case of mitisbushi motors..which still selling few  2012 models with little upgrades while others relased two batches of all new vehicles

Next bs 6 regulations next to in par with es 6 regulations.. such regulations won't help auto growth in India.  Vehicle cost will grow up to new regulations. Because of this maruthi Suzuki has to come out of deisel car manufacturing completely from next year.. 

Imagine how much of a business is lost. 

All credit goes to bjp pundakors...for running country like their own house...not going through proper policy making when such drastic desicions are made.

 

Last but not least if not the major reason..

Finance , private finance companies where fuckkked  post demonitization..they never recovered like main stream banks , which are recovering ...

 

Because of lack of finance options...many couldn't pay from pocket for increase in car sales..

Cars sale kyrocketed during 2014-2105. ..ola.uber where there back then too..but what changed..easy finance options and affordable price.. drop in salary income and hike..weak economy

Infrastructure is always real isue in India.

It is not going to Cha he overnight..

 

Congested antava..starting 2001 I have never been on time any city..be it hyderbad or Delhi..

 

We need to develop new cities ..instead of over populating existing ones.
