This is the problem. People here are taking things personally when hypocrisy in their post is pointed out.

To expect people that frequent this DB to understand their own hypocrisy and bias is futile, now you know

Manaki telvaka.

I used to work with a white guy he retired working for Chevy. He told me abt his family, pretty much like yours and mine. He had 3/4 kids, his wife was house wife took care of house, they were married for ~50 yrs. he told that he was happiest man when his elder son was got married but when his son went through divorce he was telling me he was sad, she(daughter in law) wanted to play around left my son ani.

manaki telvaka ante. I know these kinda examples exist a lot with my acquaintances with my professor, my colleagues in lab I haven’t seen such example mentioned by TS yet ani @Meow cheppamannadu

It's true, most people in the US have good family values, especially in the mid-West, more so than the coasts, they are very conservative.

It's not just some attorney, it's the ones who deal with such cases. So first hand experience unnollu cheppindi correct kadantav. Plenty of depressed people back in India too, they don't come out in the open like here since they will be bulled and ridiculed by everyone around them.

Depression in India is a different ball game compared to USA it’s like comparing cricket and baseball ...

Both nations are extremely different in culture and bonds its people with democracy . Depression in India is mostly based on less money but in states it’s there relations and family . I strongly support Indian family system for peaceful life than having just for fun and later feeling depressed and unpeaceful life .

According to research, it takes an average of 4 years to recover from depression caused by 'gray divers'. While it takes about 8 years to recover from the grief of the death of the life partner. It is very painful. But this depression in choosing a new partner after marrying again ends at the same time. Which is a positive truth. Not only this, but it also improves economic conditions. A person emerges quickly from depression.
But only 22% of the women and 37% of the men remarry after the 'Gray-Divorce' year. Divorce has a more serious effect on women. 26.9 percent of women of this age are more likely to be poor than 11.4 percent of men who get Divorced at the age of 63 years or more.
