Buddhism is not an upper caste movement. There is a lot of debate on it. There is still a lot of proof missing that budhha really existed or not. Some say budha might have existed but his movement was more of a rallying cry for others to start something fresh. Everything started by uppercaste does not become an upper caste movement though many are.

lot of people still think most Chinese companies are now in private hands that’s not true. Commanding heights of economy are still with state companies.

state capitalism means state controls the production. state appoints technocrats (not elected) to run the factory. its almost like having ceo.

if it was socialism, workers of the factory should control the production and run the management.

Well I see your point but thats stretching it too much I think. Capitalist mode of production rests on individual ownership of means of production. Communist mode rests on social ownership of production. Therefore a state owned company is a communist mode of production.

It never talks about internal management style(elected by labor vs appointed by someone).

ownership is fine, but we can't allow socialism to get distorted by allowing taking away control of production from the workers. or atleast the manager should be elected by the workers.

in fact, I'm not a socialist. I run a few businesses, and own them 100%, but I opensource my ip. but we can't allow people call all and sundry socialist, because they will use it to defame socialism itself.

you should read thsi new book by Nathan McGovern - The snake and mongoose. 

it shows how the emergence of buddhism was an emergence of a different kind of brahminism. and its not anti-brahmin in its full sense. The fight was about whose conception of the brahman was the best.

Exactly bro...left ideology expects to be a utopian world after it's fight reaches a logical conclusion but it isn't like that...if you think that establishing another state that only supports poor....the parameters set to qualify for poor will be mired with social complexities, it's intricacies, groupisms, casteisms,communalism, regionalism...so if they start accepting the deficiencies in social structure then their fight will be automatically moulded and catered to the people in sure need of uplifting....ala kakunda vallu kuda rigid ga untey ....penam meedha nundi poyyi lo padda paristhithi avthundhi Manaki...
