bit funny with people making of India but reality on the ground is a lot different.

reality is much different.

 

Right after NDA came to power in 2014, they changed how they calculate GDP and this change helped to boost the growth %. Even with revised calculations, growth rate fell to 5% from about 7-8%.

 

Not sure if there is any point in calculating our growth with any other country as it depends on multiple factors and each country calculates it differently
