I am using iPhone from last 3 years with no issues. Only problem is Bluetooth connectivity and complicated iTunes

the flash memory esp is rated for few million writes. That is where Apple excels since it does it in house and use quality flash memory.

Most cheap Androids and until few years ago even the Samsung's had cheap flash which used degrade after few months or years.

The technology has caught up esp with Samsung we are  starting to see better longevity

Android phones are notorious for slow down and I had experienced couple of years ago. Unfortunately I have moved on from Android and I can't comment that now

It depends on model and brand you use and how you handle.. 

On an avg 2 yrs easy ga laageyouchu.. 

Nenu Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V use chesa for 5-6 yrs till it fell down from 5th floor inspite of that fall phone is still working except touch is dead so switched to new mobile
