Police have dispersed anti-China rallies in several cities in Kazakhstan, including the capital Nur-Sultan and Almaty, detaining dozens. Plans to relocate a number of Chinese plants and factories to the former Soviet republic has faced public opposition, led by supporters of Mukhtar Ablyazov, a fugitive banker living in France.
