Why lot of confusion is being created in Andhra Pradesh over the above !?

While Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated in 2014 in to Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh, it was agreed upon to give ‘Special Status' by the then Congress Government at the insistence of opposition parties, mainly BJP. But, later on, when BJP formed next Government at the Centre in May 2014, it could not grant the same for technical and administrative reasons when the neeti ayog (the Planning Commission Board) of the Centre made it clear that Andhra Pradesh would not come under special status category.

The only choice left to the BJP government is either to go for constitutional amendment or announce a Special Package. The BJP Governance has not gone for constitutional amendment as it has no political advantage in doing so. In stead, since the TDP governance in Andhra Pradesh is its political ally, it had convinced the position to the CM, Chandra Babu Naidu and made him accepting the “Special Package” and rubbed off its hands.

Now, it is the burden of Chandra Babu to convince the AP people and he is already in that job.Now, the present status is that AP would not get Special Status and has to content with the Special Package. This is clear and settled issue of the Centre & the State. That is all.

 

CBN duty is to convince the people and tell what he got in special package , rather that he started criritisim against modi. And what results got in the return , you know.
