Villas for VVIPs at Yadadri

HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently expressed his concern over the impact of recession on the Telangana economy. But this hasn’t affected the construction of swanky villas for VIPs near Laxminarasimha Swami temple at Yadagirigutta, which is in full swing with impunity to recession.
It is learnt the state government is spending nearly Rs 100 crore to construct 15 villas to meet the requirements of the VIPs. These are supposed to have better facilities than the VIP accommodation at the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh. The accommodation is coming up at a hillock, a few kilometres away from the temple.

Among the 15 building being constructed, one would be a palatial villa, which is being constructed for VVIPs, with built up area of 15,000 square feet. This massive building would be used for accommodating dignitaries such as the President, Prime Minister, national and international guests when they visit Yadagirigutta. The Telangana chief minister would be using the bungalow as well.

Similarly, 14 other villas, with a built up area of 7,500 square feet each, are also being constructed.

“The villas will have high-end facilities. The construction is being done keeping in view future requirements, since Yadagirigutta will be a major pilgrim destination,” sources associated with Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) told TOI.

Yadagirigutta temple has always been a famous destination and draws thousands of devotees daily. It is considered as the ‘Telangana Tirupati’.

The works on the the approach road for the VIP villas are already underway, as are the construction of foundation, pillar works and laying of roofs of many villas.

The 14 villas are being built in a row at the bottom of the hill, with the massive VVIP bungalow being constructed on the top.

The chief minister visited Yadagirigutta a few days ago to review the progress being made in the construction of the new temple structure.

Yeah it’s not like tirupati where devotees comes from far places and stay for 1/2days . Mostly hyd nuche Veltam yadagirigutta ki
