There is no fixed base % for any party in Telangana.

It's in a flux with minor Hindu consolidation happening in Urban areas.

 

Even TRS base is not confirmed in this state & BJP in some segments is cutting across caste lines.

 

Jack in the box is Congress, which is refusing to quietly die, making matters complicated.

May be next couple of years will probably make things more clear.

Naidu has toned down after the elections,

He is looking for ways to survive, if thats a nice way to put it.

 

Is BJP looking to send him to jail - NO

Is Amit Shah & Modi looking to send him to jail - YES

 

End of day I think larger interest of BJP will ensure that Naidu won't go to jail.

All depends on what kind of talks are happening in background.

 

Looking back, Naidu ditching BJP before 2019 elections would go down as the second worst political blunder of the last 2 years.

Worst being Communists going on rampage in Kerala to insult Lord Ayyappa.

Nope, people think that way since it looks that way.

Not saying these 2 don't hold a lot of power. They do but they are not control freaks. Check how much they let the regional CM's work on their own with little interference. 

Even now in MH, it is Fadnavis holding crucial talks with SS and not Shah.

 

Now, what Modi & Shah want may not be the best for BJP.

Kill the snake when it’s injured. Doing so will give a political vacuum in ap for the opposition which bjp/bodi+shah are looking for.

Thats what I addressed in my first post.

 

Ideally BJP would love to replace TDP. But on ground that is not happening in next 5 years, unless Jagan makes such humongous mistake particular to Hindu religion - it aint happening.

Even in this case, like I stated and many know, Caste is triumphing religion.

And BJP's usp is religion, which currently the % of people buying into is not significant electorally.

 

I would be thrilled if BJP can manage this but realistically Andhra Hindus are still heavily into caste mode, while Jagan is very cleverly playing both Caste + Religion card.

 

Removing Naidu does not mean jailing him. 

And if BJP loses the chance to defeat Jagan in 2024, the demographic changes due to conversion would make it impossible going ahead.
