Socially, This is a good move but the amount government makes from liquor is actually senseless considering the amount it requires to maintain the regulation.

Molasses is a controlled substance in india. Primary ingriedent for alcohol. 

Akadinundi retail customer konukkune varaku there are different rules and laws, few thousands laws and by laws...The manpower and expenditure to enforce these regulations runs into thousands of crores every year...

Kalthi liquor cheyadam quality control lo lapse that happens at the very end of the supply chain...
