మాజీ స్పీకర్ కోడెల శివప్రసాదరావు ఆత్మహత్యకు సంబందించి నరసరావుపేట వైసిపి ఎమ్మెల్యే చెబుతున్న విషయాలు ఆసక్తికరంగా ఉన్నాయి.మీడియాలో ఆ వివరాలు వచ్చాయి.
కోడెల అసలు ఎందుకు చనిపోయాడో ప్రజలకు తెలియాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు. ఒక వ్యక్తి ఆత్మహత్యా ప్రయత్నానికి పాల్పడితే ఆ వ్యక్తి దగ్గర 21 రోజుల పాటు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఉండాలనే నిబంధన ప్రతి డాక్టర్‌కు తెలుసు అన్నారు. ఈ విషయం డాక్టర్లు అయిన కోడెల కుమారుడు, కుమార్తెకు కూడా తెలియంది కాదన్నారు. ఆయన వెంట ఎవరూ లేకుండా ఒంటరిగా ఉంచటం ఎంతవరకు సమంజసం అన్నారు. సీఎం జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి ఈ కేసుల్లో ఎవరినీ అరెస్టు చేయవద్దని స్వయంగా ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చారన్నారు. ఆరోజు 9.45 గంటలకు ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంటే పోలీసులకు 10.30కు సమాచారం ఇచ్చారన్నారు. చివరిసారిగా తన కుమార్తెకు దండం పెట్టి పైన ఉన్న తన గదికి వెళ్లారన్నారు. గదిలోకి పోయిన కోడెల ఏం చేస్తున్నాడనేది కూడా వారు పరిశీలించలేదన్నారు. తన మిత్రులకు ఫోన్‌ చేసి తాను చివరిసారిగా మాట్లాడుతున్నానని చెప్పారన్నారు. తమపై పెట్టిన కేసుల్లో బాధితులకు రూ.6,7 కోట్లు డబ్బులు ఇచ్చేద్దామని కుమారుడు, కుమార్తెకు చెప్పినా వారు వినలేదన్నారు. వీటన్నింటిపై విచారణ తప్పకుండా జరగాలని శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి అన్నారు.

Nenaithey itlanti rule undhani vinaledhu...generally we will advise the attenders of the patients to be with them and take care of them as once a person attempts suicide it is highly likely that he will do it one more time.....naku thelisinantha varaku there are no rules per se imposing upon patients...it is actually the other way round we have to take consent from the patients or his/her attenders during most of the scenarios...ikkada mla mislead chesthunnattu undhi.....

Gadantha naku thelvadhu bro...but nenaithey vinaledhu chudaledhu itlanti rules untayannadhi....naku internship chesetappudu kuda psychiatry lo postings chesthamu...medicine lo patients medha rules enforcing anedhi undadhu...it is up to their choice whether they comply with the treatment or not....except in medicolegal cases and certain scenarios where we are complied to inform the higher authorities...recent ga supreme decriminalised suicide attempt...
