Hong Kong announces legislation to ban face masks at protests

Leader Carrie Lam officially enacted emergency laws to pass a ban on masks at public gatherings as Hong Kong enters its 18th weekend of protests. Earlier in the day, demonstrators took to the streets in protest of the decision.

Hong Kong by passing this law is making a joke of democratic process. which anyway existed only to serve the interest of those in power.

an average Hong Kong person is far more sophisticated that the most urbanized Indian. Its an incredible city with brave people, especially its youngsters. Their avg IQ is literally the highest in the world. lol.

wearing face masks is the best tactic in a protest. its easy to beat the police and run away. spit on them, etc.

with this new regulation, police can probably detain masked people, but lets see if they force that slave mayor to take this legislation back too.
