Is KCR targeting RTC JAC leader?

There seems to be more to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s stubborn stand in crushing the strike of RTC employees than what meets the eye.

According to sources, KCR is particularly targeting E Ashwathama Reddy, chairman of Joint Action Committee of Telangana RTC workers and employees’ Unions, who is spearheading the agitation of the workers.

Reason: KCR has a suspicion that Reddy has the backing of his nephew and present state finance minister T Harish Rao.

Till a few months ago, Harish Rao was the president of TSRTC Mazdoor Union to which Ashwathama Reddy belongs. There is a talk that Ashwathama Reddy was a close follower of Harish Rao.

In the past, too, the RTC workers agitated for wage hike and Harish Rao had supported their demand, albeit indirectly, landing KCR in an embarrassing situation. Later, Harish Rao was forced to resign from the post.

Apparently, KCR decided then itself to impose a ban on the trade unions both in RTC as well as in Singareni employee’s unions. So, when the RTC workers called for a strike, KCR grew impatient and quickly enforced ban on the strikes.

The chief minister reportedly suspected that Harish Rao could be behind the RTC workers’ strike. Moreover, there was also a talk that Ashwathama Reddy had secretly campaigned against present agriculture minister S Niranjan Reddy in Wanaparthy and tried for the latter’s defeat.

This could be yet another reason for KCR acting tough against the RTC workers, say sources.

doubt ledu he will have his own chapter, just padu chesukovodu ani hope anthe, the power, the awareness of Telanagana  he has (not sure many people know telangana in and out as he does)now he can transform the state to next level in many fields, just want him to focus on that rather than jagan tho dostana, swaijis, rebuidling assembly, secretreists etc etc , koduku cm kurchi alnativi taggisthe manchidi .
