October will be a month rife with things to enjoy in the night sky. Three meteor showers will reach their peak this month, and two of those will take place this week. The Southern Taurids and the Draconids are going to peak on back-to-back nights

gp..did they say any specific dates

With clear skies, look to the northeast after midnight for what might be a good display of bright fireballs.

Southern Taurid : Currently active
Active from September 10th to November 20th, 2019

The Southern Taurids are a long-lasting shower that reaches a barely noticeable maximum on October 9 or 10

If you miss any of this, get set for the next meteor shower, the Orionids, which peak on the morning of Oct. 21-22 in the east at dawn.
