Rajesh Dutt Bajpai, Executive Director of Railway Board, on Thursday informed that the Indian Railways has constituted an empowered group of secretaries for the privatisation of 150 trains and 50 stations. NITI Aayog CEO and Railway Board’s Chairman are among the members of the high-powered committee. “It is always been our endeavor to provide world class facilities to our passengers. Today an empowered group of secretaries (EGOS) has been constituted,” Bajpai told ANI.

so basically public services ni privatize chestham, because  our 'talented' businessmen can only succeed when govt holds their hand through their incompetence in commoditizing these sh1t.

Ambani brought down the cost of 4g, not because he developed some smart router tech, but because he got low cost loans to the tune of 10s of billion dollars, and Nokia to implement his 'vision'.

now with railways, Alstom will do it, and some Euro consortium will lend another 10s of billions at 3%, while all coaches will be bought from outside or assembled in India for namesake. and help keep the exchange rate hovering around 70rs per dollar, when it should be 80rs+ to invigorate exports out of India.

we don't want exports. we just want to increase local consumption, while marginally increasing local production. great plan.
