True. Also, they know they are going to lose... Actually there are enough indications on how the judgement is going.

Look at the message from Sadhguru - he basically declared victory for Hindus and said they shouldn't celebrate and told Muslims that place is not of much importance to you so let it go.

Would like us to win

But it all depends upon how SC would view this.

I am hoping but would not be surprised if my lords pull a fast one on us.

Anyway, this sets a precedence, which is basically what the Hindu side wants.

One thing is certain.

If the ruling is against the Hindu claims, then BJP, nay, Modi/Shah will pass parliament resolution for Ram Temple,

They might in the same stroke might decide to scrap 1991 temple act.

I get the feeling that everything is set.

the understanding that if SC does not do justice, Govt sure will.

Now, everyone needs to decide on simple fact ->

Are they ready to make BJP hero by going against Hindu wishes?

For sure they will use parliament in case of adverse ruling, meaning, politically Modi/Shah will go down in history as the ones who gave Ram Mandir to Hindus in spite of SC ruling against it.

The optics of it would be infinitely worse for opposition when they go for votes in 2024.

Heh, if this happens, even Telugu & Tamil states would not be immune to BJP.

After all these 2 would go down as the people who made Ram Mandir happen.

Imagine the optics of it.

If they do, they won't do it immediately. BJP moved away from Ram temple even in last  elections.

LOL,

A simple reminder that UP has 80 seats, if BJP plays with RJB, it will be thrown in dust faster than Modi can shout 'Amit Shah'. And people like me would be at the fore-front of screwing BJP.

Did not say BJP will win.

All I said is that these states won't be immune, meaning BJP will get a traction.

the 1991 act is a blot to hide crimes of history on Hindus.

Point being, win or lose, Hindu parties will never accept point 1.

It means giving up their rights on the 40000 temples destroyed by Islamists.

And this is exactly what Muslim bodies want to avoid.

If it's a win for Hindus then this case sets a precedent for Hindus to claim their rights on all temples destroyed - basically the worst nightmare for muslims.

And they want to desperately avoid that.

Hence this offer for settlement. If this case is settled, then it means there is no judgement from SC and no precedent for future similar suits filed.

Unless point 1 is dropped, this settlement means nothing for Hindu groups.
