Sorry state of BSNL and MTNL

hyperbole

Recommended Posts

Who is to blame for BSNL making thousands of crores loss? At a time when telecom companies, like Reliance Jio are set to launch 5G services in India, the government is yet to allot 4G spectrum license to the BSNL which it had sought in 2017 (edit they got the licence couple of months and now starting to roll out) .

A PSU not so long ago was earning profits in thousands of crores and was killed systematically by the GoI to pave way for private companies and in 2018 BSNL reported 8,000 Crore loss (primary reason being lack of 4G that led to customer erosion). MTNL and BSNL got to such a sorry state that they didn't pay 2 months salary or struggling to pay salaries to their 1.76 lakh employees.

monna evvaro comment chesinaru, Reliance is earning and paying taxes as if vadu edo India ni posistunnatu... no they are killing systematically PSU's through their influence in GoI (both national parties are same when comes to favoring the rich suckers like ambanis).

Next profitable PSU oil and gas companies, vati paina kuda pasddaru BJ gallu.

GoI fiscal deficit cover cheyaniki profitable PSUs la dividends penchindru so automaticga PSU cannot have cash reserves due to increased payouts and will eventaully fail to invest in theit furture i.e. upgradation and some Reliance or Adani will hit them where it hurts and starts supplying for less than what the PSU could sell for because they were denied of the opportunity to upgrade or invest in research and exploration of more oil and gas reserves.

BSNL should have exited the retail market and instead of selling SIM cards, BSNL and MTNl should actually start leasing their networks to private players.

In this era, we cannot expect services to be maintained by the PSU’s at the same time it is very important that government should have a communication system of its own.

Virtual Mobile network operators business is yet to kick off in India, just that there lies a behemoth in this field in the form of Reliance. Competing with this guy as a whole is now next to impossible.

Airtel and Jio have to be restricted to less than 50%...lekapothey vellu evariki vinaru

agreed bro, JIO ganni restrict cheya pote vani money power tho monopoly create chestadu taravuta vado pindudu start chestadu.  because of all the free offers he literally made all the operators bankrupt and not they are in a state they literally have no money to bid and upgrade to 5G spectrum, he will be clear leader in 5G race because of his investment power.

already monna out of network outgoing calls ki charge start chesindu anta and some people are upset
