Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party won enough electoral seats in Monday's vote to secure a minority government in the Canadian Parliament, while at the same time narrowly losing the popular vote to the country's Conservative Party. Elections analysts and experts were quick to offer both sarcastic and sober comparisons.
