What are pro’s and con’s if s386 becomes law ?

will whites will be thrown out of their IT jobs? How the ROW will react. Will this bill forces ROW to backlog, then there is no other way for govt but to increase employment quota, will it happens?? What are the downsides of already GC’s/Citizens desis if this bill becomes effective.How it will effect new applicants from India.

If S386 gets cleared, too many people in the H1 pipeline will move up the ladder either to senior FT roles or try working directly to end clients as independent contractors for the clients they have been working in the past

they are no longer tied to low billing rates because of H1/Vendor/Employer nonsense, so the rates will increase overall for everyone

This law is to fast track the immigration process for the people who are stuck in long waiting lines. This would help those want to live in US so peace of mind and stability.  Fake resume issue not upto this bill. That would be a different law and enforcement issue. Don't club different things together. 

It doesn't matter how ROW reacts? Did ROW react when there is long waiting lines for people from few countries? People just need to fight for their existence, it doesn't matter how the rest think or react.

Why does already GC's/Citizen desis think it as a downside? Get out of the mindset that S386 is wrong.

 

If not S386, there should be some kind of solution for sure to curb this long wait line situation. This is just failure of USA handling the immigration policies.  This bill would give stability, peace of mind to the aspirants and their families which is more important that fake resume issues or what GC/Citizens/what ROW thinks.

No man I am tired of this I will become an heavy duty mechanic joining the trade school. As a side gig i will join Starbucks to work as a barista. Tired of IT , atleast I can quit the job travel to a different country enjoy couple of months until I burn out what I saved then come work for six months save some then travel again cycle goes.

But for our existence, is wise to push other communities (countries) into this endless waiting line ?? why no one asking to increase the quota, instead asking to only remove per country cap that would help only one nation but disadvantage people from other countries?? I am neither objecting or supporting this bill, but just trying to think and evaluate.why we are not asking to increase the quota based on population of the country? Just asking to remove it altogether?

increasing quota is not going to fly in current world for this reason, Waning jobs due to automation and negative publicity on immigrants taking away jobs, second republicans are are basically against expansion of immigration historically, DT has been given 2nd term on platter already

no one is pushing others, it's the ROW thinking that they get their GC in 1 yr is their privilege that need to continue at the expense of much bigger issue ie equality 

FIFO is the principle that is adopted in every aspect.. why not here

how can FIFO delay theirs GC unless they already assumed that they get GC in 1 yr which is not a guaranteed right being an ROW

mestri candidates are competing in local market, WITCH companies are already under heavy pressure to recruit locally

the  success rate of H1 approvals of Mestri candidates is way lot higher than witches because of one reason, talent to survive individually in market, mestris are just pimps anyway, they dont really help on any front but they are one of the hindrances as well

S386 will not be flooded by Witches as these companies will change their strategy not to file GC at all and just rotate candidates from india every 4-5 yrs
