House Republicans disrupt Pentagon official's congressional impeachment testimony

On Wednesday several Republican lawmakers, led by Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, attempted to force their way into a secure hearing room (also known as a SCIF) in which the deputy assistant secretary of defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia, Laura Cooper, was scheduled to testify in the House impeachment inquiry. The congressmen staged the interruption in protest of Rep. Adam Schiff's handling of the proceedings.

Later, a “woman in blue” shown in one of the pictures from the disruption caught people’s attention.
