For over 200 years, Andhra was part of Madras presidency and hence they are called as Madrasis which absolutely makes sense...

Why did people get offended especially the 1983 batch when they are Are identifieD as Madrasi ? Historically Andhras share culturally and linguistically many things with Madras....but why did they feel they are offended ? Because they don’t have an identity of their own ?

I already explained what is wrong with madras identity but you are $hithead with no comprehension of dignity or freedom. I am offended because you are calling me by using a nomeclature given by an occupier. I am offended because i have sense of dignity and self respect which you lack and have no comprehension of.

Telangana has been here for ages...and language we speak is Telugu....language is named after the geographical region...Can you see the similarity between Telugu and Telangana ???? Oops...Andhras kabatti kanipiyadu le similarity...

Andhra identity was ALWAYS  andhra 1947 or 1047. Just because some british came and occupied and called madrasis does not make it madrasis.

Telangana 2004 mundu endi...historically can be traced to centuries....various kingdoms have ruled , Origallu, Golconda and Hyderbad...
