Jews, Christians, Muslims--all of them call each other deficient in worship of True God. (However Indian heathens are called Devil worshippers). They are also religiously intolerant of each other. In some cases, this religious intolerance has led to civic intolerance. One of the primary causes of anti-semitism has to do with this religious intolerance. Interestingly, modern scholarship of anti-semitism does not talk much about religious rivalry behind anti-Semitism. This scholarship always talk about jealousy towards jews, jews being rich/smart, etc. 

Under the Ottoman empire, some times Jews paid ziziya taxes, too.
