how will be durability and after sales service uncle? He's thinking he can grab at good discounts in stock clearance as companies had to move to bs6 standards from next year.

never buy a foreign car in india(except for toyota), maintenance issues and part are hard to get. Indian cars ea better 

but if you have money n you dont care.......than your call

India lo ayithe Ford ride quality  ki Honda/Toyota(excluding Innova) match kuda kalev. Durable too.

Ford was foreign in india a decade ago, spares are easily available now including reliable third party service, garages and experts.

To be frank, Maruti service cost is atrocious these days. Even independent garage kuda cheap spares vestharu, genuine with maruti suzuki hologram vi kavali ante Honda kante pricy unntayi, lol.  Labour charges are as usual for either Maruti or Honda. Maruti maintenance, desi company aney concept oka myth ippudu. All Maruti vehicle as lowest safety/crash ratings. Minor Accidents kuda, vehicle motham total ayithunnai. Hyundai is a bit better.

If you are looking for a Mini SUV then :

Ford Eco-Sport > Hyundai Creta > Maruti Vitara Brezza.

Renault/Datsun/Nissan Mini-SUVs are also too in terms of ride quality, reliability and safetly, but poor in dealership network so issues in service and maintance. But they are also expanding.

renault is the worst manufacture of all times, reno slowly crept into Nissan/Infiniti........and thats the reason y inifiti is having a very repo now

If Safety is your first priority Tata Nexon is the best car available at reasonable price. Tata Nexon is the only Indian car with Global NCAP 5 star rating

Tata nexon was on top of my mind at first. But listened, it has many minor issues which needs to be fixed. As a new entrant into this hatch/mini suv segment, they have some issues that needs fix which should be part of next version in nexon I think.

Usually ford cars are good but the problem is with the engine and maintenance in the long run , 1L kms tarvatha the'll be a big pain to maintain , this diminishes a lot of their pre-owned market value....
