It ain't ending well for TDP.

It is vote bank politics though. TDP is centre right in AP. YSRCP just inherited Congress‘s vote bank. We are talking about ST/SC, Muslim, Christian and Reddy population together summing up to more than 43 percent. SC/ST have been converted, but on paper they exist as Hindus because they don’t want to lose their reservations. If some upper caste Hindu Reddy has converted it just means that they are appealing to their vote bank. They know that their future depends on them. 43% is a huge number and will get them to power most of the time. AP’s political history has been like that. It has seen Congress coming back to power again and again because of this very caste equation. Jagan and his followers are simply following the rules setup decades ago.

CBN has to get his core kapu and BC vote bank back. With Janasena and PK it is nigh on impossible. There never was a place for a third party but PK set it up anyway for his own selfish reasons.
