New Parliament building by 2022, says Bodi       

The job of the Indian Parliament and surrounding areas in Lutyens’ Delhi will be carried out by a Gujarat-based architecture firm that built the Sabarmati riverfront and the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters. A new building may be constructed by the time India celebrates 75 years of Independence.

 

• Gujarat-based architecture firm HCP Designs has won the consultancy bid for Central Vista
• The firm will be paid Rs 229.75 crore for consultancy service
• The company will help redevelop the Rajpath and Parliament
• Construction Cost estimate @ 25,000 Crs
• The existing Parliament building had been designed by British architects Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. Construction of the building had commenced in 1921 and completed six years later.

 I've read that have industries will spur the economy of any state  but not by having a legislative hall

 In Topeka,Ks we have legislative assembly , what growth does this state have cause of thsi

Good Move,

Leutyens zone need to be demolished, it's a symbolism of all that is wrong with our democracy.

 

Regarding some fulkas slyly taking shots at Gujarat, well, last we all checked, they are all part of India.

The same Pulkas did not breathe a word when Naidu Garu got foreign guys to design Idly stand as capital.
