It is waste to buy to many winter coat unless u commute on bus or walk in road

with the cold it is not possible to stay out longer

so buy two coats in Costco which ever they have

Exactly.

I also bought too many whenever i got chance in black friday deals and some in Costco if i like the look and quality. I now feel they waste.

Rather buy 5 to 6 sweaters in Old Navy / Gap / Express that we wear always while in office. For commuting 1 or 2 jackets should be fine as we wear them only for a short while we're outside in harsh winter days.

Based on your location, only a jacket on your regular dressing may not work right bro, in case of north-east, mid-west, West-mountain then you many have to wear layered to keep yourselves warm. You may know this, but just saying so that you won't end up spending a lot on jacket(s) itself
