You just can't beat that!! You might save a few 100s if you live in other states, but you can't get this life style! This is all based on one income and if you wife is working, she would easily get around100K in salary too! You cannot go in flip flops in Dec/Jan anywhere else! You want to shovel snow? Be my guest! 1. i dont see Salary vs Costofliving in sync in Cali...... 2.
