Guys ATL, TX are the best for Indians. CA is good if you can afford the cost. NJ, Philly and Chicago are good if you can bear the brutal winters.. Rest of the places lo the quality of life for desis is no where close..

It's not about Indian restaurants man.. Indians want the best of both worlds, to enjoy US and at the same time enjoy your Indian heritage. Remote places lo you can neither find both. You can live happily in Congo also, I am not saying Indians in other places are not happy but they won't have the same choices or amenities unless they live in the big metros with decent weather, cost of living, job availability and fellow desi presence.. I stayed in a remote place for 6 months and to fly internationally or watch a telugu movie in theater I had to drive 3 hours. Once you move from a place like that to a big city you will know the difference..

Honestly ikkada rural places chala peaceful and country side usually people are very polite.. For someone that prefer that kind of life style they can pick rural places.. I don't think there is any hard and fast rule, it's just your personal preference..

Also one thing I learnt from my elder cousins once you have kids here you need to live in an area with some Desi population. Desi kids stick with desi kids, they don't hang out with other races so usually rural places lo unte kids grow up very insecure and lonely..

please wake up....and have cofffee

i was once interviewed for a contractor tech lead position for Apple by wipro and they offered me 60$/Hr

i am not sayin they this low for everyone, that point is pay in not competitive

for example mid-west lo you can get a good 2bd for 1200$, if you get lets saw you make 6K/month(around 100K/yr)......after taxes you might take home around 4600......so rent is around 26%

so in cali 2K rent anukundham(avg ga just for numbers).........you need around 7500K take home antea rough ga around 9600 per pay check....ante around 120K raja

antea you need to get atleast 25% extra pay ravali neeku cali undali antea when compared to other place

this is just a very basic math and rough number.....just for renting

inka own home asalu no comparisons amma

Lol. 60/hr aa. Ey rojullo saami. Ippudu min 100/hr thakkuva dorakadam ledhu contractors.

As i said, kastam ayithey bar area nunchi velipotharu kada. Bay area lo unti $120k salara lekhapothey they are doing things wrong.

Unlimited vacation is a bullshit to avoid paying PTO term pay when employee terminated, most companies moving to unlimited PTO, knowing that people may not take more than 2 weeks off in a year, and may feel guilty to take more.

Why desi kids only wanted to stick with desi kids? Any reason for it ?
