playing the card "you are singling me out because I'm black!" - these people will never reform even after generations. Law is law - eating is forbidden in paid areas. Don't argue when you don't know the law. If you are detained, it is for a reason and it is best to shut your mouth up instead of loud mouthing, insulting the officer and resisting arrest. He could have apologized and stopped eating and it would have been all fine but his loud mouth and argumentative attitude took care of his as$ at last. But the officer remained calm all through the ordeal. Had this happened in India, they would have beaten the $hit out of him, blindfolded him and dragged him on the road! Hope he will be born in India in his next birth so he realizes the value of freedom.

their own video clearly shows the guy humiliating the officer for no reason with slurs and saying the officer does not have a pus$y at home, has no life, wants mickey mouse bag, etc. When an officer says you are under arrest, just shut the fcuk up (!) and go with him and deal with the matter in the court later - an arrest does not mean anything. If he asks you for your ID, just furnish it and cooperate - there is no other way. When you get pulled over, they will not let you talk and WILL take you in - it is too late to do anything (maybe you can be nice and they may let you go). If they ask you for your ID and you don't want to show it, do you think they will let you go?? That's naive and dumb!

Whatever you say CAN be used against you in bringing more charges against you AND in the court proceedings so just shut the fcuk up and talk to ONLY your lawyer. Police are NOT your friends (even if they try to sound like they are your friends) - they are just trying to write up a case against you for some brownie points so don't talk to them or answer their questions - demand a lawyer. There is no point in resisting arrest - that will become an additional charge against you if you resist arrest and could even turn violent with a broken jaw (don't fcuk with them)!

The legal outcome will depend on your lawyer's competency (just like there are great programmers and lousy programmers in IT) - it has nothing to do with equality. Even murderers walk away freely based on just their lawyers' work. It is quite possible to replace an attorney, disqualify a magistrate and recuse a judge - they are not invincible and they need to follow due process.

apparently, he was given a chance and was asked to stop eating but he continued eating. Good luck getting any sympathy with that video.

go to any prison and you will find the vast majority of population with blacks. it looks like a $hitty black village! they are singing, dancing and screaming loudly in the jail all day and out of control! they use "MF" in every sentence. They hog the free telephones calling their people all day and if there are any computers, they are all over them and don't let others use them! Most of them don't want to come out and face the real world - they treat jail as their safe home with free food, free acco and amenities, entertainment, TV, recreation, games, hot showers, shelter, medicare, etc. They commit more crimes and keep going back to jail even after they are released! All day, they think about stealing others' food, others' socks, others' underwears, etc. and they are food-aggressive. It costs over 55K per year to maintain each inmate and there goes our tax money in maintaining millions of blacks every year! EEEW!

Equality, huh? My foot!

TS

you picked the wrong case to prove your point. You should have gone with better one - the one that involves some kind of shooting, for example Oscar grant or better yet, Indian guy in Kansas bar. The same people who are vouching for the whites here were bitching about racism in US. Hypocrisy at peaks.

Lol again u are missing the point.

I clearly said i am not here to support that guys behavior. I am talking about the context of a cop pick and choosing people. There are far more bad things happening in BART and i never see same kind of pro activeness (i.e over enthusiastic and aggressive) to resolve such problems. I have seen cops charging jay walker with tickets to fill their monthly quota. If they don't meet their targets then they have their problem to keep their job. So this is becoming more of a profit run business model rather than worrying about dealing real law and order issues.

Alabama example icchindhi akkada vaadu emi cheyakapoyina Cop gaadu vaadi jeevitham nasanam chesaadu ani. Maybe u are not able understand that.

Bottomline is don't just assume blindly that in every context law is being used the right way. It depends on cops mentality, what his background and education and beliefs and what he thinks becomes a priority in that moment. You or your closed ones could be come casualties because of this  over excited cops who want to use their guns at the drop of a hat.

Read my reply in the last post. This is not about supporting the person and his behavior.

Neeku inka vishayam context artham kaaledhu. I am not talking about inequality. Its about applying the laws consistently not pick and choose based on the officers pick and choosing model.
