Better to consult someone who's experienced in the profession. Not sure if the doctors your friend visited are reliable enough

Hmm good advice. I will talk to her parents and ask them if they can take her to a reputed doctor

Calling @Beardman I remember you said you have schizophrenia konni questions unnay answer cheyyagalava from your experience

yes, ask me.

PTSD starts with child abuse,  social anxiety during child hood. It can develop into other illnesses such as bipolar and schizophrenia by drug abuse mostly.  It could be psychosis/awakening.

Bipolar- mania between two states extremes.

schizophrenia- split mind, hallucinations, seeing visuals when eyes closed. Hearing voices

Its very difficult to diagnose illnesses coming to mind because patients cant disclose everything happening with them and doctors cant match with symptoms. There are some better medicines available which can control the symptoms for bipolar/schizophrenia like Risperidone, latuda, zyprexa , seroquel..some 15-20 antipsychotics.

Now iam curious, amrika lo unnollu how many persons you meet in a day whom you can talk personal topics.?

America russia ala cheppadam kashtam kani it depends on the person.

Navaraku ayite i dont  talk personal topics with anyone. Reasons being

1. Ekkada evari headaches vallaki untayi consistent talk about your problems will irritate them.

2. Mana kashtalu cheppukunte manam lokuva avutam tappa arche vallu terche vallu evaru undaru.

3. Inner strength toney one should cope up with themselves ..usually only way to deal a situation.

4. oorike problems chepte janalu mana nunchi paripotaru. Its hard to take in negative energy continuously. Anduke happiness share cheyali kani not sadness.

Coming to me i usually never express my pain with anyone especially with my own family members/ best friends. I cant share the pain and also not comfortable to cry or express pain with them. I cant just show my vulnerable side. I am super silent and push everyone away when i am in pain. No calls/no communication is my way of dealing with my pain and coping up with myself. My mom, dad , pinni and sister understand something is wrong with me instantly and sometimes my dad suggests me (Text) to share with my mom or pinni or akka  and that i might feel better sharing but i tell him i will be okay in some time and that i want sometime for myself.

Essay rasina whole point is evadi badha vade deal chesukovali leda psychologist deggariki counseling ki povali when u realize something is out of proportion. Finding out the problem  and accepting it is first step to solution.

Ok here is the situation my friend very intelligent and I did not see any red flags until late 20s except maybe a slight over analysis of situation. Got married and was very stressed in marriage. Like mother in law tortured her mentally. Aa situation nunchi bayata padataniki she came out and studied. Completed studies and started work still her family life did not improve. She became extremely depressed and starting taking medications. That broke up her marriage. From then on it became worse to the point that she was not able to work. And they diagnosed her as bipolar/ shrizophrenic. But she never hears voices/ hallucinations except for one time where she thought her husband was killing her when he was nowhere near. That is the only episode where she had reality distortion.

Asalu schrizophrenia ne unte antha stressful time lo chadavagaladha? She did not use any medications then except for slight use of alchohol. And aa husband killing episode was it because of schizophrenia or is it due to extreme stress? And different doctors are diagnosing her differently bipolar ani schizophrenia ani depression ani. Oka manishiki can he have all the conditions at the same time?

With previous boss, I drew a clear line between personal and professional life. But with my current boss I talk about everything, issues with my siblings, issues with my love life, issues with my work everything. It's because that's how she interacts with everyone, and everyone speaks about those issues with her and she cares about listening to it.

And the most important thing how can I help? She thinks of me as an important source of support. What things should I absolutely not talk to her so as to not make her situation worse

I didn't mean problems. Even I don't share problems. I usually share things like my crushes or ex gf stories or play around with silly jokes.

There are easily 2-3 colleagues in office like that, and 5-6 friends outside whom I meet very often. Atla adgina.

Depression elevates negative thinking which can result in Mental Illness, even if doctors diagnose with bipolar/schizophrenia they give potent antipsychotics which can control symptoms of both. Tell her not to follow her thoughts /mind , develop lateral thinking to bypass the negative thoughts....like thinking about arts, music, personality development.Cognitive behavioural therapy / or excercise every day along with medicines can control most symptoms.

For some people anxiety starts in childhood, but this one is marriage related mental illness, so i dont know much on this area.

It depends on whether she is able to do household activities and have proper sleep, talking to people normally. It helps if the illness is to lesser extent.
