థియేటర్లు నష్టాల్లో నడుస్తున్నాయి

హైదరాబాద్‌: థియేటర్లు నష్టాల్లో నడుస్తున్నాయని, కనీసం కరెంటు బిల్లులు కట్టలేని స్థితిలో యజమానులు ఉన్నారని ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత సురేశ్‌బాబు అన్నారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆయన ఓ ఆంగ్లపత్రికతో మాట్లాడారు. సింగిల్‌ స్క్రీన్‌ థియేటర్‌ యజమానిగా అనేక సమస్యలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ‘డిజిటల్‌ ప్లాట్‌ఫాంలు బాగా పాపులర్‌ అయ్యాయి. చేతిలో ఉన్న మొబైల్‌ ఫోన్‌తో కావాల్సింది ముందుకు వస్తోంది. అందుకే ప్రజలు ఇంటి నుంచి బయటికొచ్చి థియేటర్‌లో సినిమా చూసేందుకు ఆసక్తి చూపడం లేదు. సరికొత్త సినిమాలు చూసేందుకు నెట్‌ఫ్లిక్‌, అమెజాన్‌ వంటి మాధ్యమాల్ని ఎంచుకుంటున్నారు. ‘సైరా’, ‘సాహో’లాంటి పెద్ద సినిమాల్ని చూసేందుకు మాత్రమే థియేటర్‌కు వస్తున్నారు. ప్రేక్షకులు థియేటర్‌కు రాకపోవడం చాలా సాధారణమైపోయింది. దీని వల్ల ఎన్నో సమస్యలు ఏర్పడుతున్నాయి. థియేటర్‌ ఉద్యోగులకు జీతాలు ఇచ్చే విషయం పక్కనపెట్టండి.. నేను కనీసం కరెంటు బిల్లును కూడా చెల్లించలేకపోతున్నా’ అని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.

తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో మల్టీప్లెక్సులు లేనన్ని రోజులు సింగిల్‌ స్క్రీన్లకు మంచి డిమాండ్‌ ఉండేది. పదేళ్ల క్రితం దాదాపు 3000 సింగిల్‌ స్క్రీన్లు ఉండేవి. కానీ ఇప్పుడు వాటి సంఖ్య 1700లకు చేరింది

Chinna cinemas are always healthy for industry.

These big producers used to block small movies producers and used to fill theaters with big movies to run for 50 days 

Now big movies are releasing on prime in just under 4 weeks from release dates.

So ppl will only come to watch small budget hit movies and those small budget movies no where to seen. Those producers are bankrupted.

small budget movies lo 70% of them are not watchable.....ah remaining 30% of movies konni intlo chusukune type untai...very few are really worth watching in theaters.

hollywood movies release movies in DVD/s / Blurays and social media's only after a min. of 3 - 4 months.......just pay per view type konni release chestharu initially otherwise they restrict....even super duper flop movies. India lo kuda ilane cheyyale ledante evaru theater ki raaru inka....1 month lone Prime / netflix lo vasthe inka emundhi. These platforms are bigger threat than piracy stuff.
