Twitter review: George Reddy opens to mixed response

George Reddy, one of the most-awaited films of this year, has finally hit the big screens. The film is a biopic based on George Reddy, a student leader, boxer and Gold medalist.

Reddy, between 1967 and 1972, had a massive influence on the politics of the Telangana region. To date, he is remembered for his revolutionary ideas and ideals. Reddy was brutally murdered in 1972. 

The film stars Sandeep Madhav in and as George Reddy while Shrinivas Pokale plays the younger George.

The film also stars Satyadev Kancharana, Devika Daftardar, Musaan Khubchandani and Pawon Ramesh in key roles.

Directed by B Jeevan Reddy, the film has been produced by Appi Reddy, Sanjay Reddy, Damu Reddy, and Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti.

While some are heaping praise on the film, others are not that impressed with the biopic.
