I think after this mess, All that BJP wants is a floor test and buy some time. 
 

Its better to run a minority government than to be dependent on allies as such. Making as many as 80 MLA’s absent from assembly on the day of voting and then form a minority government may not be as easy as poaching MLA’s and splitting other parties..
