In a major twist, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday took oath as the chief minister of Maharashtra with NCP's Ajit Pawar as his deputy. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, however, has claimed that NCP's Ajit Pawar was blackmailed into joining hands with the BJP to form government in Maharashtra. Congress has also slammed the BJP for the "clandestine" manner in which Devendra Fadnavis was sworn-in and said the day will be written in black ink in the history of the state. Devendra Fadnavis will now face a floor test. For latest updates on Maharashtra, stay tuned to IndiaToday.in
