In an interview with The New York Times, former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that she has been "called" to run for public office – possibly the governorship of Arkansas, a seat she has been linked to since leaving the White House in June. Sanders' father, Mike Huckabee, served as governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007.
