Think of it this way,

If Pilot or Scindia stay in Congress, they will NEVER reach the top position.

 

The positions they have right now is basically the top most they will ever reach.

Where as in BJP, they may start low but the potential is much higher.

 

Look at Himantha & the traction he is getting once he moved to BJP.

Top post is the one where you actually have the power to make decisions.

As such except for Amarinder, none of the Congress leaders have power to make any decision, everything is fed from the family.

 

BJP on the other hand gives a pretty free reign to their state leaders and general secretaries.

 

Pilot and Scindia will never be their own man in Congress.

Frankly I would be very surprised if these 2 guys move to BJP.

It could be their way of sending message to Gandhi family that they want more...
