If anyone are interested in plane spotting , LAX is the best airport to do so...on both the ends of the runway, one can get clear view of the planes. 
 

Parallel to the runway, there is a park, bit elevated which will give you a clear view of the runway, flights and perfect view of international terminal, all the biggies fly from here..
