I don’t know man this sort of a thing happens everywhere no matter what you do. One of the most haunting pictures I have seen is the one below of a girl about to be killed after being raped. This happened in a country like the USA where guns are freely available and women carry pepper spray. The guy happens to be a truck driver just like what we saw now

ekkuva aalochinchaku. These things happen rarely, and you cannot plan in advance for these. even a guy cannot handle if a group attacks him. lyt teesko.

yeah, you can carry pepper spray, and pocket knife and learn how to use them, but its not going to help anyone if attacked by more than 2 people. don't lose sleep overthinking about this.

the only thing anyone can do is first work on themselves, work towards being comfortable in life. then after you are comfortable, use the knowledge and experience you gained to help others a little bit - if you can. helping other people is not easy. so its alright if you can't.

live humble and smple life. you can still be a target, but that's life. you can't plan your life in anticipation of something bad that could happen.

similarly you can't make laws based on such incidents too. giving guns to girls, killing the perpetrators etc, putting cameras in every corner of the world etc are just ideas that insecure minds come up with.

be confident, and brave, that nothing is gonna happen.  life is nothing if you lose that trust with people. don't watch media reports on this.
