We have very less police than required. I remember reading somewhere that we have just 1/3rd of required police forces for our population.

True.

oka decade back anthakanna takuva vunde

20 years back inka takuva vunde..

anthakante mundu district ki oka 20 CI's vunte ekuva...

in the same way, over the next few years, force will add more personal or have innovate methods to police..

it takes time..rome was not built overnight...after India as a republic is barely 70 years old...

PANIC means dial 100...no matter what it is...

I don’t understand why the government should not be held responsible for what has happened. Why should they be left Scott free? It is also partially a failure of police department. Someone from the govt must be calling the shots on how security in the city is being handled. Why not question them also?

so..it starts with belief in the system

people need to taught to dial 100. in this case too, instead of calling her sister, if the victim had dialed 100, it could have been a life saviour. oka police jeep siren esukuni tirugithe a siren vinipinche antha varaku criminals paripotaru just a sound vini...

Such panic helpine numbers are developed to help people, its the turn of the people to start utilising them for thir own safety..anthe kani ilanti incidents ayinapudalla vachi India lo ada pillalu safe uh ante...mari safe ga vundadanike kada 100 lantivi pettindi...avi vadakunda desham debbesindi ante etla ?

failure of police department ? in what way ? Like..Do you expect the police to have X-ray vision on each and every square foot of the geography ?

Do you have a proper reason to blame the government's failure ? I can show you lapses from victim's families and had the victim family reached to police at the right time instead of wasting time searching for their sister on their own, It could have been a better situation...

Don't be so stupid..Do you really think pink/yellow.blue and green colors are being painted all across the state by directives from the adminstration ? or  Do you think public money is being used to fund such paintings ?

monna evado barre ki YCP colors esindu, Do you really think the orders came from Amaravati to paint the YCP colors to buffallo horns ? I don't understand what the issue is..

Why were the lorries parked there? What is the protocol for that? Shouldn’t there be proper rest areas for vehicles to be parked? What about the licenses and criminal checks on the drivers? Were they completed before allowing these crooks to drive vehicles? Why did the police ask the family to go elsewhere and file a complaint? For such a big city, why aren’t basic communication channels between police stations not present? Are the police even adequately equipped to carry on searches? Entha time lopu response ivvale for such situations? Do they even have sufficient people to handle such a big city? Ivanni failures ye.
