Even after being independent and educated, this national-level taekwondo player, Sarita met with a tragic end when she was shot dead for rejecting a man and his proposal.

As per Tribune, Sarita was shot dead by her stalker, a wrestler himself, in the wee hours on 12th November at Bhora Khurd, Gurugram. The accused, Sombir, barged into her house and shot her dead after she refused to accept his “last and final” proposal.

So What Happened?

Sombir had been stalking Sarita for over a year and has been constantly pressurizing her to marry him. Even though Sarita complained to the police in August, the police didn’t arrest the accused. This brave young girl constantly followed the matter with the police. She also mentioned about the danger and the harassment that she facing but sadly, none of her pleas were taken seriously.
