incidents like this have the power to lighten up the society as a whole... they are rare... like how nirbhaya increased social consciousness..

but what is TRS doing ? they are trying to push the blame on victims by  curbing their rights....

Did u see any change in Police behaviour from Nirbhaya to this case..

e lolli anta 3-4 weeks varike...

once media moves the column to 5th page...over..evvar matladadu..neither about safety ..nor about the system..

two ways to look, usually Gov/country will issue a message to take care yourself is when  natural calamities  or some powerful force taking over their citizens which they can't do anything after trying their best ani, kani India lo gov's are not working that way and we are ok with it. So at the end you have to make sure you care about yourself first and foremost but Gov alanti message ivvadam is not admirable. When her parents clearly complained to police yet they did not bother what does that message even solving other than buying some credit?

common sense man..

when there is not enough public movement or traffic movement during night times, its unsafe..

if u are new to any place and unfamiliar with it, then it is obvious unsafe after the dawn...

paina cop cheppedi how can u avert any incidents in such scenarios....

safe or unsafe ki difference teliyaledu..how do we decide ante..its better for them to stay at home or travel with partner/adult/family..

Not possible. You and me and DB members can argue to lengths but the fundamental point we all missing is, we are talking to each other but the real message is not being passed to grass roots like uneducated youth from villages who has no sense of common consciences. I always find it funny reading internet messages educating or lecturing each other but no one (including me) out wanting to do a education camps in remote places to help educate our counterparts because we are busy building our own lives and families so we should expect Gov should intervene and help eradicate because it's not going to happen with-in society. It's too big of a effort for an individual. It has to be embedded in our system from birth.

ilanti case lo cops velli aara tesei..a location kanipettadaniki enta time padtadi..

and can we blame the cops for not averting the incident from happening in this case...?

most of the rape cases or abduction cases lo jarigedi ide... and ilanti cases lo manalni manam tappa enta secure police force unna kapadadu...

This is a moot point to argue because you need to look at the number of incidents happening the way you described versus the no of incidents otherwise happening. Educated countries like US lo kuda Gun culture is very well alive as we speak so we can't talk on those lines.

yes, the number of incidents which i explained are less..

and incidents where the victim and culprit know each other are happening more...

in the later case, its more difficult to track the culprit and break the story.

One of the reasons why there were not such crimes recently is the rise of startup based taxi services that were very accountable. They exist for a reason and they should be kept alive

This is highly unlikely if not impossible due to cultural difference. Which is a fundamental driving factor for a unity.
