Chennai engineer and NASA find India’s lost Vikram lander

Shanmuga Subramanian studied lunar images from Nasa's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter to locate the Vikram lander's debris and wrote to NASA. NASA soon confirmed the findings and released the image of “the first mosaic of the impact site” as they spotted Chandrayaan2, India’s Vikram.
