Just like Arjun Reddy gave an excuse for young men to act like assholes, Joker is going to give a lot of dispossessed young men an excuse to take the gun against the world. Yes movies are influential. and movies that show the 'truth' are no exceptions.

 

Better to stop at 'AJ was an overstylized character study of an asshole, with nothing original to offer other than showing how entitled upper class losers act in Indian society. Its a boring as fcuk film', if you are going to crticize the movie (which was actually not the point of that get together anyway).

Doesn't mean Arjun Reddy shouldn't be made, or that Joker shouldn't be made.

Joker is extremely triggering to someone who's going through even a little of what the Joker goes through in the movie. Not to the upper class asshole types that he shoots in the movie, for whom the movie is simply an entertaining piece of art.
