why is it bad? BJP is a political party doing politics. Congress is a picha poo party which is lost in this political climate.

Why can't Congress offer an alternative? because Congress believes in almost the same thing as BJP does. except they don't advertise it like BJP does.

cheppalantey PVNR writes at high school level. It was pretty pathetic book to read. too much self dabba, good that he didn't name that lead character after himself. haha..

True. The book covered most aspects from the days of the Nizam till the Gandhis. I don't expect it to be close to reality but it was never written to be closer to reality, its a glimpse of Indian politics from PV's eyes, not to create any impression about the PV or to claim anything.

that book is the perfect example of self aggrandizement. I read it in my teens, with my father praising the book. it was okay. it gave me a connection with the author, given he's subject to many legends (multiple language speaker, blah blah)..

but now thinking back, it is wasted time.

He was honest  in that book...he discussed in length about the land ceiling act...it's implementations and difficulties in doing so...ippudu baapan Ani moruguthunnollaki adhi kanapadadhu...even brahmins were effected by that act...

Okay, so PV was responsible for Babri's demolition ? or was that conspiracy or coincidence or was PV a Prime Minister then or was PV a Kar Sevak ?

I mean...its silly to even assume that PV allowed Babri's demolition just because we would never agree to be on the same page but the politics of those days, Mandir politics was heating up and you can make some precedence but cannot plan and execute perfectly...
